Remote Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join our team. This position is integral to the effective management of procurement processes and supply chain operations. As a Remote Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Management:
   • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
   • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
   • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and contracts.
   • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
   • Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, products, and pricing information.
2. Supply Chain Optimization:
   • Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased efficiency.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals.
   • Forecast demand and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
   • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Utilize data analytics tools to generate reports and insights related to procurement and supply chain performance.
   • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement based on data analysis.
   • Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to procurement and supply chain activities.
   • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier relationships, procurement processes, and supply chain disruptions.
   • Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions or procurement challenges.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and logistics teams, to ensure alignment and coordination of procurement and supply chain activities.
   • Provide support and guidance to team members and other departments regarding procurement and supply chain issues.
   • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and vendors to address any issues or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP, CPSM) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain logistics, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, SAP, or similar software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to procurement and supply chain management.

Salary and Benefits:
