Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Remote Project Business Analyst to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of key business projects. As a Project Business Analyst, you will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and ensure successful project implementation. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills comfortable working in a remote and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for key projects.
• Develop detailed business and functional requirement documents, user stories, and process maps to ensure clarity and alignment across project teams.
• Support the planning and execution of projects by providing analysis and insights to guide decision-making and problem-solving.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current capabilities and develop strategies for addressing those gaps.
• To ensure successful project delivery, assist in developing project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements, address issues, and ensure alignment among project stakeholders.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• To ensure transparency and effective communication, develop and maintain project documentation, including status reports, process flows, and user guides.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams and stakeholders, including troubleshooting issues, addressing questions, and guiding as needed.
• Analyze project data to provide insights into performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support change management efforts by developing training materials, conducting training sessions, and ensuring stakeholders are well-prepared for new systems and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in managing or supporting projects.
• Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and business analysis techniques.
• Proven experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements for complex projects.
• Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools, such as JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and developing practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Agile project management methodologies is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are a plus.
• Experience in process improvement and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working in finance, healthcare, or technology is an advantage.
