Core Responsibilities

Execute Detailed Regression Test Cycles

• Conduct end-to-end regression testing to validate that recent updates haven’t negatively impacted existing functionalities.
• Collaborate with the broader QA and development teams to prioritize areas of risk and optimize regression coverage.

Develop & Maintain Test Suites

• Build and refine reusable test cases tailored to evolving product features.
• Continuously enhance test documentation and contribute to test suite versioning.

Collaborate Across Agile Teams

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to ensure timely regression validation.
• Coordinate closely with product owners and developers to align testing objectives with project goals.

Analyze and Report Defects Thoughtfully

• Use modern bug tracking tools to log issues with precision, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and severity levels.
• Provide clear insights into test outcomes to support product quality decisions.

Qualifications and Expertise

What You Bring to the Team

• Proven experience in software quality assurance or regression testing roles (remote or on-site)
• Comprehensive grasp of modern software engineering processes (SDLC) and test methodologies
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, replicate bugs, and communicate findings clearly
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to automated regression suites or scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications
