Naukri Mitra is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Retail IT Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and expertise to our retail clients, helping them maximize their IT infrastructure and systems to improve business processes and enhance customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Consultation and Strategy Development: Provide strategic IT consulting services to retail clients, including needs assessment, solution identification, and roadmap creation. Develop IT strategies to support and enhance retail operations, including supply chain management, inventory control, and customer relationship management.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: We provide timely and efficient support to resolve clients' IT issues. We troubleshoot system issues, ensure minimal downtime, and provide expert advice to resolve problems related to retail systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Retail Systems Implementation: I will assist in the deployment, configuration, and integration of retail-specific software and systems, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, ERP, and CRM solutions. I will also ensure the successful implementation and adoption of new technologies to drive operational efficiency.
• Digital Transformation Initiatives: I lead digital transformation projects for retail clients, focusing on adopting emerging technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, and AI to improve overall business performance. I work with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to increase productivity and profitability.
• Training and Documentation: Provide retail staff with training and guidance on best practices for effectively utilizing IT systems. Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and operational procedures, to help users maximize their IT investments.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data and generate insights to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to give clients visibility into key performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors, software providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of new IT solutions. Act as the main point of contact for IT-related matters, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution between clients and vendors.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure IT systems adhere to industry standards, data privacy regulations, and best practices in cybersecurity. Implement appropriate safeguards to protect sensitive data and minimize the risk of breaches or other security incidents.
• Customer Experience Enhancement: I work closely with retail clients to understand their needs and design IT solutions that create seamless and engaging customer experiences. I assist clients in enhancing their online and in-store customer journeys through personalized services, optimized user interfaces, and integrated sales channels.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field. Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, preferably within the retail sector. Proven experience in managing IT projects, providing support, and implementing retail IT solutions.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of retail technologies, including POS systems, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues. Ability to adapt to different situations and think on your feet.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Experience in delivering presentations and conducting training sessions for clients or employees.
• Project Management: Experience planning, managing, and executing IT projects from start to finish. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
• Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach to consulting, with an understanding of the retail industry and a passion for enhancing the customer experience. Ability to understand retailers' unique challenges and design IT solutions tailored to their needs.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail in system analysis, data interpretation, and reporting.
• Remote Work Experience: Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with experience in using collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Slack to communicate with clients and team members.
