Remote Security Software Engineer
Description
🔐 Remote Security Software Engineer
🌍 About the Role
Imagine working from anywhere in the world while shaping the digital safety net of tomorrow. We're not just building secure systems but rewriting how cybersecurity fuels innovation. As a Remote Security Software Engineer, you'll become an integral contributor to a culture driven by innovation, exploration, and the bold belief that security should never stifle progress. You won’t just protect systems; you’ll empower innovation.
With an annual salary of $144,572, this role isn't just a job—it's a calling for those ready to rethink digital trust in a boundaryless world. We’re searching for someone who blends a hacker’s mindset with a builder’s precision.
🛤️ Our Journey and Vision
🚀 From Start-Up Spark to Global Guardian
We began as a small, disruptive team challenging legacy security frameworks with a radical new mindset: trust must be earned continuously. Now, we serve startups, Fortune 500s, and forward-thinking organizations with intelligent, scalable, cloud-native security solutions. Our roots in distributed systems security, DevSecOps, and remote-first operations have helped us become a go-to force in cybersecurity.
Our innovation lab frequently explores AI-assisted threat modeling, serverless security architectures, and cross-cloud access control. Our commitment to engineering excellence has made us a long-standing partner in major compliance, security, and identity governance ecosystems.
🌱 A Culture That Clicks
Here, culture isn’t a buzzword—it’s a shared experience. We build trust by being transparent, empathetic, and just the right amount of quirky. Whether collaborating on zero-trust frameworks or sharing a GIF war in Slack, you’ll feel the energy of a team that genuinely enjoys creating together.
We believe in asynchronous freedom with synchronous bonding. Team retreats, virtual escape rooms, and weekly engineering hangouts help us stay connected. We're bound not by office walls but by shared values and a relentless curiosity for building secure digital worlds.

🧠 A Day in the Life
🗓️ Daily Activities
You start with a standup across three time zones. Before lunch, you perform a code review, uncovering a missed authorization layer in a new API. You update a detection signature, then join a brainstorming call to design multi-region access policy support. Later, you mentor a junior engineer on best practices for securing third-party integrations.
Flexible scheduling means taking a walk, enjoying your surroundings, or indulging in mid-day creativity before diving back into work refreshed. We believe in doing great work, not just busy work.
