Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response: This position oversees and monitors the security of the organization's information systems to detect and respond to security incidents. It uses advanced tools and technologies to identify potential threats and anomalies and leads incident response efforts to contain, mitigate, and analyze the impact of security breaches.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the infrastructure.   • Compliance and Audit: We ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations and cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. We also provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security controls into projects and new systems. Mentor junior security analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop security metrics and prepare reports on the organization’s overall security posture for senior leadership. Provide insights into threat trends, risks, and incidents and recommend actions to improve resilience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including network security, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including risk management, threat detection, security frameworks, and penetration testing. Proficiency with security tools, such as SIEM (e.g., Splunk), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
