Naukri Mitra, a well-established recruitment agency, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Remote Senior IT Consultant for our client, a leading IT consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT consulting, client management, and technology strategy and a strong ability to work in a remote environment. You will manage client engagements, provide expert advice, and lead complex IT initiatives to deliver client value.

Role Overview:

As a Remote Senior IT Consultant, you will provide strategic IT consulting services to clients, helping them solve complex business problems through technology. You will lead IT projects from start to finish, working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation. You will also mentor junior consultants, share best practices, and contribute to the overall growth of the consulting practice. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong client management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and IT requirements. Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic IT guidance that meets their needs.
• Solution Design: Design and develop IT solutions that align with clients' business objectives. Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, create technical roadmaps, and ensure that solutions are effective, scalable, and future-proof.
• Project Management: Manage IT consulting projects from inception to completion. Define project scope, set milestones, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Oversee the work of project teams and guide to ensure successful outcomes.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership across various technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and data analytics. Leverage your expertise to solve complex technical problems and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture that encourages learning and growth.
• Digital Transformation: I lead digital transformation initiatives for clients, including cloud migration, IT modernization, and process automation. I ensure these projects align with the client's strategic goals and provide measurable value.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to client engagement and IT projects. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery and minimize potential disruptions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project progress, risks, and challenges to stakeholders, both internal and external. Ensure that stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
• Business Development Support: Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposal development, and participating in client presentations. Expand client relationships and identify additional areas of engagement to help grow the consulting practice.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all consulting engagements meet or exceed client expectations regarding quality, timeliness, and value. Implement best practices, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with IT consulting trends, technologies, and best practices. Use this knowledge to inform project decisions, provide innovative solutions, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT consulting, including at least 5 years in a senior consulting role. Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects and managing client engagements.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise software. Ability to provide strategic guidance on a wide range of IT topics.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience managing IT consulting engagements. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Client Focus: Strong client engagement skills, focusing on delivering value and building long-term relationships—the ability to understand client challenges and provide strategic IT consulting solutions that meet their needs.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead project teams—experience mentoring junior consultants and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and senior management. Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to client challenges.
• Certifications: A plus is a certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, able to understand client's business challenges and develop technology solutions that add value. Experience working closely with senior executives and influencing business strategy.
