Remote Software Engineering Intern

Description

Remote Software Engineering Intern

Start Your Tech Career with Purpose and Impact

Are you ready to kickstart your journey in software engineering with a company that values inclusion, curiosity, and collaboration? We are seeking a Remote Software Engineering Intern who is passionate about building technology that matters while being part of a diverse and supportive team. This opportunity is crafted for aspiring professionals enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience, growing, and contributing meaningfully, regardless of their background or experience level.

We believe in nurturing talent, not just filling roles. Join a culture where mentorship is central, creativity is encouraged, and your voice matters.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Software Engineering Intern, you’ll actively contribute to developing real-world projects that drive business value. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you can learn hands-on and make meaningful contributions from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers
  • Write clean, readable, and efficient code in languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java
  • Participate in code reviews to learn and receive constructive feedback
  • Contribute to bug fixing and troubleshooting issues in both front-end and back-end systems
  • Help improve internal tools and enhance automation pipelines
  • Document technical processes and project insights clearly and effectively

A Culture of Support and Belonging

We champion an inclusive workplace where everyone's story matters. Our team comprises people from all walks of life, and our shared values of respect, empathy, and continuous learning unite us.

Real Stories of Inclusion

When one of our interns faced housing instability during the pandemic, our People & Culture team stepped in, helping them relocate temporarily with support from a relocation stipend and flexible hours. Today, that same intern is a full-time engineer on our team.

Another intern from a non-traditional educational background shared how their ideas were always welcomed during team discussions. They said, "I felt seen and heard, not just as a new developer, but as a contributor."

These stories reflect our commitment to creating an environment where everyone has room to thrive.
