Job Description:
We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented Remote Staffing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will ensure our workforce operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee recruitment, coordinate staffing schedules, maintain personnel records, and ensure company policies and labor laws compliance. Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various organizational roles.
- Post job openings on relevant job boards and platforms, ensuring the positions are marketed to the appropriate audience.
- Screen applications, conduct initial phone interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including collecting required documentation and organizing training sessions.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop long-term workforce planning strategies.
2. Staffing Schedule Management:
- Create and manage employee schedules to cover all shifts while avoiding conflicts and overtime.
- Communicate regularly with employees and managers to address any scheduling issues or changes.
- Use workforce management software to track and adjust employee schedules in real time.
- Proactively manage staffing shortages and fill vacancies promptly to maintain productivity levels.
3. Employee Relations:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to scheduling, benefits, or work policies.
- Resolve staffing conflicts and work to address any employee concerns or grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain positive working relationships with full-time and part-time staff members, promoting a healthy work environment.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to managers on areas for improvement.
4. Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including job descriptions, contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies regarding working hours, overtime, and breaks.
- Monitor attendance and leave balances, ensuring accurate tracking of sick leave, vacation, and other time off.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that support the organization's staffing needs.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assist in evaluating employee performance by gathering manager feedback and compiling performance reports.
- Based on performance data and staff surveys, provide recommendations to improve employee retention and job satisfaction.
- Analyze staffing metrics and present reports to senior management, including turnover rates, attendance records, and workforce productivity.
- Support the HR department in implementing initiatives that improve employee engagement and development.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Educational Background:
- A bachelorโs degree inย human resources, businessย administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in staffing coordination or human resources will be considered in place of a formal degree.
2. Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in staffing coordination, recruitment, or human resources management.
- Previous experience in a remote or distributed work environment is a plus.
3. Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using HR software and scheduling tools such as ADP, Kronos, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and workforce management software.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
