We are seeking a talented Statistical Analyst for one of our clients who will work remotely to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.

Position Overview:

We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to work remotely and support data analysis, modeling, and interpretation activities. The ideal candidate will collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate valuable business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide statistical expertise, support decision-making, and help the organization optimize performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Preparation: Gather and organize large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity—Preprocess raw data to prepare it for statistical analysis, including cleaning, validation, and transformation.
• Statistical Analysis: To support business decision-making, perform advanced statistical analyses, including regression, hypothesis testing, and variance analysis. Develop predictive models to identify trends, correlations, and relationships within data.
• Data Modeling & Forecasting: Develop statistical models for forecasting and predictive analytics. Use these models to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth and optimize operations.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and informative data visualizations using charts, graphs, and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively—present complex statistical findings in an easy-to-understand format for non-technical audiences.
• Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations based on statistical analyses. Present results to stakeholders, including senior management, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide statistical support. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and address business challenges through data-driven insights.
• Research & Methodology Development: Conduct research to develop statistical methodologies and best practices for data analysis. Stay up-to-date with new statistical techniques, data tools, and industry trends to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of data analytics.
• Hypothesis Testing & Experimentation: Design and conduct experiments, A/B tests, and hypothesis tests to evaluate the impact of different business strategies. Provide data-driven recommendations based on the results of these tests.
• Automation & Efficiency Improvement: To enhance efficiency, develop automated processes for routine data analysis tasks. Identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes and implement solutions that reduce manual effort.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional statistics or data analysis certifications is advantageous.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a statistical or data analysis role is essential. Experience working with large datasets and conducting complex statistical analyses is also necessary.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, SAS, or SPSS. Strong knowledge of data analysis libraries and tools, such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Experience with SQL for querying databases is highly desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights—attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in analysis and reporting.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software to create compelling visualizations that convey data-driven insights.
• Statistical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of statistical concepts, including probability, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling. Ability to apply these concepts to solve real-world business problems.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex statistical findings in an easy-to-understand manner. Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Remote Work Experience: Experience working remotely or with distributed teams is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable using remote communication and collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.
