Position Overview:

We seek a talented and detail-oriented Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join our client's dynamic supply chain team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing supply chain operations, identifying areas of improvement, and providing data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and optimize the overall supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain management, and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution, to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Gather, interpret, and analyze supply chain data, such as demand forecasts, inventory levels, and supplier performance, to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply chain projects and initiatives, including procurement, logistics, finance, and production.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance and identify areas of opportunity.
• Assist in developing demand forecasting models to improve inventory management and maintain the correct stock level.
• Recommend inventory strategies to minimize carrying costs and stockouts while maintaining optimal service levels.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to develop strategies for managing and mitigating supply chain disruptions.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain software and technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards that track supply chain performance and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for supply chain initiatives to determine the impact on efficiency, cost savings, and overall performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain by participating in process improvement projects and identifying opportunities for automation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for supply chain projects and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Stay informed about supply chain trends, best practices, and market conditions that may impact it and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Remote Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, or other supply chain software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and present findings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with supply chain management software like SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management strategies and practices.
• Experience working in an e-commerce or retail supply chain environment is a plus.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are advantageous.
