Remote Supply Chain Risk Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Supply Chain Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks within the supply chain to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our global logistics and supply chain functions. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our organization's strategic risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Identification and Assessment:
   • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the supply chain.
   • Utilize data analytics and risk modeling tools to evaluate the impact and likelihood of various risk factors, including supplier disruptions, geopolitical issues, and natural disasters.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and insights necessary for accurate risk assessment.
2. Risk Mitigation Strategies:
   • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact on supply chain operations.
   • Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders to establish contingency plans and ensure preparedness for potential disruptions.
   • Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and make necessary adjustments based on evolving risk scenarios and operational changes.
3. Supply Chain Monitoring:
   • Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
   • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess the health of the supply chain.
   • Provide regular reports and updates on risk status, trends, and mitigation efforts to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
4. Supplier and Partner Relationship Management:
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to enhance collaboration and communication regarding risk management.
   • Evaluate supplier risk profiles and conduct due diligence assessments to ensure alignment with organizational risk management standards.
   • Work with suppliers to develop and implement risk reduction initiatives and improve overall supply chain resilience.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
   • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to supply chain risk management.
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and compliance activities.
   • Prepare and present detailed reports on risk management activities and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders as required.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain risk management.
   • Participate in professional development activities and industry conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.
   • Contribute to the development of new risk management strategies and tools to improve the overall effectiveness of the supply chain risk management function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Management Professional) is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in supply chain risk management, logistics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, risk modeling, and supply chain management software/tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and time management.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time remote position, offering flexibility to work from your preferred location.
• Occasional travel may be required for meetings, conferences, or site visits, depending on business needs.
• The role may involve working across different time zones, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is USD 59,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
