Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Total Rewards Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and recognition. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about creating competitive and equitable reward systems that attract and retain top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Analysis and Strategy:
    • Develop and maintain competitive compensation structures and pay practices.
    • Conduct market research and benchmark analysis to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.
    • Review and analyze salary data and trends to provide recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and merit increases.
  2. Benefits Administration:
    • Manage the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
    • Ensure benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Partner with benefits providers to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
    • Conduct regular benefits audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of benefit programs.
  3. Recognition and Incentives:
    • Design and oversee employee recognition programs that align with organizational values and goals.
    • Develop and manage incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, and other performance-based rewards.
    • Track and analyze the effectiveness of recognition and incentive programs to drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  4. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
    • Generate and analyze reports related to compensation and benefits to provide insights and support decision-making.
    • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of total rewards management.
  5. Compliance and Governance:
    • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and employment practices.
    • Ensure all total rewards programs and practices comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
  6. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on total rewards programs and guide HR team members and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate effectively with employees regarding total rewards programs, benefits options, and compensation-related inquiries.
    • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of total rewards strategies with overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards management.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, benefits administration, and reward program design.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and compensation management software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
