As part of our fully remote legal team, you will be instrumental in managing a wide array of trademark matters. Your expertise will ensure that brands are safeguarded, rights are enforced, and clients feel confident in your counsel. Key Responsibilities
Trademark Strategy & Client Advisory
- Develop comprehensive trademark strategies tailored to the client's business goals.
- Provide strategic counsel on brand protection, portfolio development, and enforcement options.
- Interpret and advise on U.S. and international trademark laws with clarity and precision.
Trademark Prosecution and Enforcement
- Conduct and analyze trademark clearance searches using sophisticated search tools.
- Prepare and prosecute trademark applications through registration with the USPTO and other global jurisdictions.
- Draft and respond to office actions, oppositions, and cancellation proceedings.
Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support
- Support litigation efforts relating to trademark infringement and unfair competition.
- Assist in drafting cease-and-desist letters, settlement agreements, and other legal communications.
- Collaborate with outside counsel in complex enforcement matters.
IP Portfolio Management
- Maintain and manage global trademark portfolios across multiple industries.
- Work closely with clients to ensure filings are strategically aligned and up-to-date.
- Monitor renewals, deadlines, and developments affecting trademark assets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with marketing, product development, and executive teams to align legal strategy with business objectives.
- Support internal training initiatives related to brand protection and intellectual property awareness.

Qualifications We Value
- Law degree (JD or equivalent) obtained from a recognized institution
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 4 years of direct experience in trademark law, preferably in both domestic and international contexts
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
- Experience with USPTO and WIPO procedures
- Strong interpersonal communication and client-facing skills
- Comfort working independently while thriving in a team-centric culture
