Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Remote HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fully remote environment and is adept at handling various aspects of human resources. As a Senior HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in managing employee relations, overseeing HR processes, and ensuring that our HR policies and procedures align with organizational goals. You will be the go-to person for complex HR issues and will work closely with senior management to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment.
    • Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including developing and executing programs that promote a healthy organizational culture.
    • Address complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  2. HR Policies and Compliance:
    • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures under current labor laws and regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation.
    • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Oversee the recruitment process for various positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent sources to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  4. Onboarding and Training:
    • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
    • Develop and implement training programs that support employee development and career growth.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Performance Management:
    • Manage the performance appraisal process, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
    • Work with managers to address performance issues and develop action plans for employee improvement.
    • Promote a performance-driven culture by identifying and implementing best practices for performance management.
  6. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee benefits.
    • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
    • Address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits and resolve any issues promptly.
  7. HR Reporting and Analytics:
    • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR functions and provide insights for continuous improvement.
    • Develop and present reports to senior management on HR trends, issues, and initiatives.
  8. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage HR projects, including process improvements, policy updates, and special initiatives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress and address any challenges or obstacles that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, with a proven track record of handling complex HR issues.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in a remote work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with remote HR tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
