Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and highly motivated Senior Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be critical in optimizing our supply chain processes and driving efficiency across our global network. You will leverage your expertise in supply chain management to analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize logistics operations.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supply chain performance.
- Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
- Evaluate current supply chain strategies and recommend adjustments to achieve optimal results.
- Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any delivery, quality, or compliance issues.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and present detailed reports on supply chain performance, including cost analysis and forecasting accuracy.
- Utilize data visualization tools to create clear and compelling presentations for stakeholders.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Implement contingency plans to address disruptions and ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt supply chain strategies proactively.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts and team members.
- Participate regularly with stakeholders to review supply chain performance and discuss improvement initiatives.
- Technology and Tools:
- Utilize advanced supply chain management software and tools to analyze and optimize supply chain operations.
- Stay updated with industry technologies and trends to improve supply chain practices continuously.
- Recommend and implement new tools or technologies that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or analysis, with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain processes and driving operational improvements.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
