Strategic Operations Advisor

Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Operations Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this remote role, you will be critical in shaping our operational strategies and enhancing our overall performance. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in operations management, strategic planning, and process improvement. Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:
   • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the organization's strategic vision and operational goals.
   • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
   • Lead the development of strategic initiatives and long-term plans, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
2. Operational Excellence:
   • Assess current operational processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress towards strategic goals and operational targets.
   • Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure alignment and execution of operational strategies.
3. Project Management:
   • I oversee the planning and execution of strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
   • Utilize project management methodologies to develop project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
   • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and outcomes.
4. Change Management:
   • Lead change initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
   • Develop training and communication plans to support the implementation of new processes and systems.
   • Monitor the impact of changes on operational performance and make adjustments as necessary.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
   • Engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, driving continuous improvement efforts.
   • Represent the organization in meetings and discussions with partners, vendors, and industry groups.
6. Data-Driven Decision Making:
   • Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, leveraging data analytics to support strategic initiatives.
   • Develop reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
   • Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision-making and prioritize initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, strategic planning, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently remotely, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
