Talent Acquisition Manager (Remote)

Annual Salary: $145,115
Location: Fully Remote (US-based candidates preferred)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the recruitment efforts and oversee the talent acquisition function across various departments and geographical locations. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will work closely with department heads, senior leadership, and external partners to develop and execute strategic hiring plans. Your primary goal will be to source, attract, and hire top-tier talent to meet the company’s current and future workforce needs.

This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic team across time zones. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, skilled at building relationships, and have a deep understanding of the latest recruitment trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Recruitment Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior leadership to understand hiring needs and forecast future workforce requirements.
  • Use data-driven insights to design, evaluate, and optimize the recruitment process, ensuring scalability as the company grows.
  • Partner with HR and other departments to refine the employer brand, ensuring the company is recognized as a top workplace in the industry.

2. Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Management:

  • Proactively source and build a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and recruitment events.
  • Foster relationships with passive candidates and maintain a database of potential hires for future roles.
  • Utilize recruitment technology (ATS, CRM, etc.) to track, organize, and evaluate candidate information, ensuring a streamlined and effective hiring process.
  • Leverage market research and talent analytics to stay updated on hiring trends and competitive salaries within relevant markets.

3. Candidate Experience and Engagement:

  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Communicate with candidates promptly and professionally at each stage of the hiring journey, from initial outreach through to offer acceptance.
  • Provide timely feedback to candidates and keep them informed about their application status.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and training to deliver a consistent and engaging interview experience.

4. Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Lead initiatives to ensure the recruitment process is inclusive, ensuring diverse candidates are represented at all stages of the hiring process.
  • Partner with internal diversity and inclusion teams to align recruitment strategies with the company’s commitment to creating an inclusive workplace.
  • Promote the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts through outreach and partnerships with external organizations.

5. Leadership and Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Lead team meetings, and recruitment debriefs, and provide actionable feedback to improve team performance.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing talent acquisition team capable of delivering on ambitious hiring goals.
  • Ensure that the team meets key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously drives improvements in the recruitment process.

6. Collaboration and Cross-functional Work:

  • Act as a liaison between recruitment and other departments, ensuring a collaborative approach to talent acquisition across the organization.
  • Work with HR, compensation, and legal teams to ensure that all hiring practices are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding talent market trends, hiring challenges, and solutions.

7. Metrics and Reporting:

  • Develop and manage recruitment metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on the effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on hiring progress, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and candidate satisfaction scores.
  • Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct post-hire evaluations to assess the long-term success of hires and ensure they align with company goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in HR, Talent Management, or Leadership are a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, talent market trends, and HR technology platforms (such as ATS and CRM systems).
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leadership.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
    • Strong leadership capabilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote environment and managing remote teams.
  • Familiarity with diversity and inclusion strategies within recruitment.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits best practices, with experience in salary negotiation and offer management.
