Overview:
We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our organization’s growth and success. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments to understand their hiring needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy Development:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
- Design and implement effective recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.
- To build a robust talent pipeline, utilize various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
- Conduct proactive talent searches and engage with passive candidates through LinkedIn, industry forums, and other platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to create a strong talent network.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including initial contact, screening, interviewing, and final selection.
- Job Posting and Advertising:
- Create compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards and social media channels.
- Ensure job postings accurately reflect the role and attract the right candidates.
- Screening and Interviewing:
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Candidate Experience and Communication:
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience, ensuring clear and open communication.
- Offer Management and Negotiation:
- Extend job offers to selected candidates and manage the negotiation process.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to finalize offer details and prepare offer letters.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate sources.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve recruitment processes continuously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional candidate experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with remote hiring and managing virtual recruitment processes.
- Certification from a professional HR organization, such as SHRM or HRCI.
- Familiarity with various sourcing platforms and social media recruiting strategies.
