Overview:

We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our remote team. This role is pivotal in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our organization’s growth and success. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments to understand their hiring needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy Development:
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies.
    • Design and implement effective recruitment campaigns to attract high-quality candidates.
    • To build a robust talent pipeline, utilize various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
  2. Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
    • Conduct proactive talent searches and engage with passive candidates through LinkedIn, industry forums, and other platforms.
    • Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates to create a strong talent network.
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including initial contact, screening, interviewing, and final selection.
  3. Job Posting and Advertising:
    • Create compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards and social media channels.
    • Ensure job postings accurately reflect the role and attract the right candidates.
  4. Screening and Interviewing:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  5. Candidate Experience and Communication:
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Maintain a positive and professional candidate experience, ensuring clear and open communication.
  6. Offer Management and Negotiation:
    • Extend job offers to selected candidates and manage the negotiation process.
    • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to finalize offer details and prepare offer letters.
  7. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Track and report on key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate sources.
    • Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  8. Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and regulations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve recruitment processes continuously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment techniques, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional candidate experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with remote hiring and managing virtual recruitment processes.
  • Certification from a professional HR organization, such as SHRM or HRCI.
  • Familiarity with various sourcing platforms and social media recruiting strategies.
