Role Overview:
Naukri Mitra seeks a driven, results-oriented Technical Recruiter to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and recruiting technical talent for various clients across different industries. You will work closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand their hiring needs and deliver high-quality candidates who meet specific technical requirements. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Screening: To identify and attract top technical talent, use various tools and platforms, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with both active and passive candidates. Engage with them throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
- Job Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with hiring managers and department leaders to understand the specific technical requirements of open positions. Create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Resume and Application Review: We review resumes, portfolios, and applications to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit. We also conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule and facilitate interviews with candidates and clients. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure the interview process runs smoothly.
- Candidate Evaluation: Evaluate candidates based on their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and organizational fit. Use technical assessments or coding challenges to gauge abilities as needed.
- Offer Management: Work with hiring managers to extend job offers, negotiate salaries, and handle the onboarding process for new hires.
- Market Research: Stay updated on trends in the tech industry, including emerging technologies, salary benchmarks, and best practices for recruiting technical talent.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of candidates, job requisitions, and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Employer Branding: Represent Naukri Mitra as an employer of choice by promoting the company and its clients in a positive light during the recruitment process.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in recruitment processes and strategies and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, IT Recruiter, or similar role, preferably with experience recruiting for software engineering, data science, or other technical positions.
- In-depth understanding of technical roles and the skill sets required for success in these positions.
- Familiarity with programming languages, software development methodologies, and IT infrastructure is a plus.
- Strong sourcing skills, including experience using job boards, social media, LinkedIn, and other platforms to identify candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence candidates and hiring managers.
- Proven ability to assess technical skills and cultural fit, using technical interviews or coding challenges when necessary.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Strong negotiation skills and navigating sensitive conversations with candidates and clients.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for high-demand technical roles such as software engineers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and cybersecurity professionals.
- Familiarity with technical interview platforms like HackerRank or Codility.
- Certification in recruiting or human resources (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter, SHRM).
- Knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices in tech recruitment.
