Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Telehealth Occupational Health Consultant to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support in occupational health through telehealth platforms. You will work with various clients to assess, diagnose, and manage health-related concerns and ensure that workplace health and safety standards are effectively met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultation and Assessment:
- Provide remote consultations to employees and organizations regarding occupational health concerns.
- Conduct thorough assessments of health issues and occupational risks using telehealth tools.
- To provide comprehensive recommendations and evaluate medical history, work environment, and potential health hazards.
- Diagnosis and Treatment Planning:
- Utilize telehealth technology to diagnose and treat a range of occupational health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including preventive measures and interventions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Advise organizations on regulatory compliance related to occupational health and safety.
- Assist in the development and implementation of workplace health policies and procedures.
- Conduct virtual training sessions for employees and management on best practices for health and safety.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of consultations, assessments, and treatment plans.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health trends, outcomes, and recommendations for clients.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding occupational health matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide clear, actionable advice.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and address any concerns or questions promptly.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in occupational health and telehealth technologies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of telehealth practices and procedures to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, Medicine, or a related field; Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health, preferably with experience in a telehealth or remote consulting role.
- Certification in occupational health or telemedicine is highly desirable.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations, safety standards, and risk management.
- Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and address health issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
