Job Summary:

We seek a dedicated and experienced Telehealth Program Coordinator to manage and oversee our telehealth initiatives. This role is essential for ensuring our telehealth services' smooth operation and continual improvement, providing support to healthcare professionals and patients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a Telehealth Program Coordinator, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, IT teams, and patients, to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of telehealth services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management:
    • Develop, implement, and manage telehealth programs and initiatives, ensuring they align with organizational goals and comply with relevant regulations.
    • Monitor program performance, patient satisfaction, utilization rates, and operational efficiency and recommend improvements.
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including policies, procedures, and reports.
  2. Stakeholder Coordination:
    • I will serve as the primary point of contact for telehealth services, addressing inquiries and resolving issues from healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure the integration and utilization of telehealth tools within their practice.
    • Collaborate with IT and technical support teams to ensure the functionality and security of telehealth platforms and tools.
  3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that telehealth programs adhere to federal and state regulations, including privacy laws and reimbursement policies.
    • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high service delivery and compliance standards.
    • Implement and monitor data security, patient confidentiality, and information protection protocols.
  4. Training and Support:
    • Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare providers and administrative staff on telehealth platforms, policies, and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users of telehealth services, addressing any technical or operational challenges.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance program offerings continuously.
  5. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to telehealth program performance, including patient outcomes, utilization metrics, and financial impact.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and recommendations for program improvements.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  6. Patient Experience:
    • Manage and improve the telehealth appointment process, including scheduling, communication, and follow-up, to ensure a positive patient experience.
    • Address patient concerns and feedback promptly, implementing solutions to enhance the telehealth experience.
    • Work to ensure that telehealth services are accessible and equitable for all patients, including those with limited technological resources.
  7. Program Expansion and Development:
    • Identify opportunities for expanding telehealth services and developing new programs to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare providers.
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to pilot new initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote the adoption of telehealth services within the community and among healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in healthcare administration, public health, nursing, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare program management or telehealth coordination.
  • Strong understanding of telehealth technologies, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, remote environment.
