Position Overview:
We seek an experienced and highly motivated Virtual Care Operations Manager to lead and optimize our virtual care programs. This remote position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare operations, technology integration, and team management. As the Virtual Care Operations Manager, you will oversee our virtual care services' development, implementation, and continuous improvement and ensure they meet the highest quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management:
- Design and implement virtual care programs that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop operational workflows and processes to ensure the efficient delivery of virtual care services.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to integrate virtual care solutions into existing care models.
- Technology Oversight:
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of virtual care technologies and platforms.
- Ensure that technology solutions are user-friendly, secure, and compliant with healthcare regulations.
- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtual care services.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of virtual care programs, including patient outcomes, satisfaction, and adherence to best practices.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of virtual care services.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and organizational policies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of virtual care professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to ensure proficiency in virtual care technologies and practices.
- Patient Engagement and Support:
- Develop strategies to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction with virtual care services.
- Address patient concerns and feedback in a timely and effective manner.
- Work with marketing and communications teams to promote virtual care services and educate patients about available options.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data related to virtual care operations, including usage statistics, patient outcomes, and financial performance.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending areas for improvement.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including clinical staff, administrative teams, and executive leadership, to align virtual care initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Communicate effectively with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support the successful implementation and operation of virtual care programs.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to developing the organization’s strategic plan for virtual care services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in virtual care to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role focused on virtual care or telehealth.
- Strong understanding of virtual care technologies, telemedicine platforms, and healthcare regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing virtual care programs and services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
