Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute virtual conferences, webinars, and online events of varying scales and complexities.
  • Collaborate with clients, speakers, and stakeholders to determine event goals, timelines, and expectations.
  • Select and manage virtual event platforms and tools that best suit the conference requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of the event, such as speaker schedules, attendee registration, and technical requirements.
  • Provide training and support to speakers and participants to ensure smooth participation.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot live events, addressing any technical or logistical issues promptly.
  • Evaluate post-event metrics and feedback to identify areas of improvement and report on event success.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the virtual event space to enhance offerings continuously.
  • Build relationships with vendors, partners, and sponsors to optimize event outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning and managing virtual conferences or similar events.
  • Proficiency in virtual event platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, or other industry-specific tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and tools.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Monday.com is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
