Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Virtual Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Initiatives Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in fostering an inclusive culture by developing, implementing, and managing virtual diversity and inclusion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in D&I practices, virtual engagement, and project management. You will work closely with various teams to create and maintain an environment where all employees feel valued, respected, and included. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on our global workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diversity & Inclusion Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine a comprehensive D&I strategy that aligns with the companyโ€™s overall mission and goals.
  • Identify and analyze current trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion, ensuring our strategies are cutting-edge and effective.
  • Set clear, measurable goals for diversity and inclusion initiatives, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

2. Virtual Program Management:

  • Design, develop, and implement virtual D&I programs and initiatives, including but not limited to workshops, training sessions, and webinars.
  • Ensure all programs are accessible, engaging, and effective for a diverse, global workforce.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality D&I content and experiences.

3. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Support:

  • Provide guidance and support to ERGs, helping them to develop and execute their strategies, events, and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between ERGs and senior management, ensuring alignment with the companyโ€™s broader D&I goals.
  • Facilitate virtual networking opportunities and discussions within and between ERGs.

4. Training & Development:

  • Create and deliver virtual training programs focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all employees are equipped with the knowledge and tools to foster an inclusive workplace.
  • Develop e-learning modules, interactive workshops, and other resources to support continuous learning on D&I topics.
  • Work with HR and Learning & Development teams to integrate D&I training into broader employee development programs.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and report on data related to diversity and inclusion within the organization, using insights to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of D&I initiatives and programs, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities in D&I efforts.

6. Communication & Advocacy:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for diversity and inclusion across the organization, promoting awareness and understanding at all levels.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote D&I initiatives, successes, and opportunities across various platforms, including internal newsletters, social media, and virtual events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging around D&I efforts.

7. Partnerships & Collaborations:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external organizations, networks, and communities that support and enhance our D&I efforts.
  • Represent the company at virtual D&I conferences, webinars, and other industry events, sharing best practices and learning from others in the field.
  • Explore and develop partnerships with educational institutions, nonprofits, and other organizations to support diverse talent pipelines and community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field. A Masterโ€™s degree or relevant certifications in D&I is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a diversity and inclusion role, with a focus on virtual or remote initiatives.
    • Proven experience in project management, particularly in developing and implementing D&I programs in a virtual environment.
    • Experience working with global teams and understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, practices, and legal requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack).
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • High level of cultural competency and empathy.

Work Environment:

This role is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from any location. You will collaborate with a global team, requiring occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
