Virtual Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Program Manager

Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Virtual Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Program Manager to lead our strategic D&I initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This role fosters an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of D&I principles, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record in driving organizational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- D&I Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive D&I strategies and programs that align with organizational goals and values.
- Conduct regular assessments of existing D&I practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set clear, measurable D&I objectives and ensure alignment with the companyโs mission.
- Program Management and Execution:
- Lead and manage D&I programs and initiatives, including training, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and integration of D&I initiatives across all departments.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of D&I programs, utilizing data and feedback to make necessary adjustments.
- Training and Development:
- Design and deliver engaging, impactful diversity, equity, and inclusion training sessions.
- Develop resources and tools to support employees in understanding and embracing D&I principles.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and team leaders on D&I best practices and strategies.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to D&I metrics and trends within the organization.
- Prepare and present regular reports on D&I progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend strategies for enhancing diversity and inclusion efforts.
- Employee Engagement and Support:
- Foster a culture of inclusivity by actively engaging with employees and addressing their D&I-related concerns and needs.
- Develop and maintain employee resource groups (ERGs) and facilitate their activities and initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for employees seeking advice or support on D&I issues.
- External Partnerships and Community Engagement:
- Build relationships with external organizations and community groups to support D&I goals.
- Represent the organization at D&I-related events, conferences, and workshops.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Masterโs degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Diversity Professional) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a D&I role, with a proven track record of managing and implementing D&I programs in a remote or virtual environment.
- Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, including knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in using D&I software tools, virtual communication platforms, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, demonstrating strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
