Annual Salary: $85,513

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Virtual Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Manager to join our team. In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies that foster an inclusive workplace culture. Your expertise will help shape and guide our organizationโ€™s approach to D&I, ensuring that our policies, practices, and initiatives reflect our commitment to creating a diverse and equitable environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement D&I Strategies:
    • Design and execute comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies that align with organizational goals and values.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate D&I principles into business practices, policies, and overall organizational strategy.
    • Conduct needs assessments and develop action plans to address areas of improvement in diversity and inclusion.
  2. Program Management and Oversight:
    • Manage and oversee the implementation of D&I programs, including training, workshops, and initiatives.
    • Develop and monitor metrics to assess the effectiveness of D&I programs and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Coordinate and facilitate D&I training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.
  3. Advocacy and Education:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, providing guidance and support to employees and leadership.
    • Create educational materials and resources to promote understanding and awareness of D&I issues.
    • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to diversity and inclusion.
  4. Recruitment and Retention:
    • Partner with HR and recruitment teams to develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce.
    • Analyze recruitment and hiring practices to ensure they are inclusive and equitable.
    • Support employee resource groups (ERGs) and other affinity groups to foster a sense of community and belonging within the organization.
  5. Policy Development and Compliance:
    • Review and update organizational policies to ensure they promote diversity and inclusion and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Address and resolve D&I-related issues and concerns, working to create a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.
    • Advise on policy development and changes that impact diversity and inclusion.
  6. Communication and Reporting:
    • Develop and deliver regular reports on D&I metrics, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
    • Communicate D&I goals, initiatives, and successes to the organization, ensuring transparency and engagement.
    • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on feedback and assessment results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in diversity and inclusion roles, with a proven track record of implementing successful D&I initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices, trends, and legal requirements.
  • Experience with virtual and remote work environments, with the ability to manage and engage a distributed workforce.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of D&I initiatives.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and promoting diversity in all aspects of the organization.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate different time zones and meeting schedules.
  • Occasional travel may be needed for training sessions, conferences, or team meetings.
