Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Employee Relations Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations Management:
    • Act as employees' primary point of contact regarding workplace issues, concerns, and grievances.
    • Develop and implement strategies to address employee relations, including conflicts, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, ensuring a fair and unbiased process.
    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on resolving workplace issues promptly and effectively.
  2. Policy Development and Compliance:
    • Review, update, and maintain company policies and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Advise management on interpreting and applying policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.
    • Monitor changes in employment laws and regulations and recommend policy adjustments to remain compliant.
  3. Training and Development:
    • Design and deliver training programs for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, including conflict resolution, communication skills, and diversity and inclusion.
    • Create and maintain training materials and resources to support ongoing development in employee relations practices.
  4. Performance Management:
    • Assist managers in addressing performance issues and developing performance improvement plans.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting performance evaluations and delivering constructive feedback.
    • Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention through effective performance management practices.
  5. Employee Engagement and Communication:
    • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and collaboration between employees and management.
    • Regular surveys and feedback sessions should be conducted to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

  6. Reporting and Analysis:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex employee issues.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to various employee relations scenarios.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively address employee concerns.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a proactive approach to managing and resolving workplace issues.
