Position Overview:
Naukri Mitra seeks an experienced and motivated Virtual Financial Analyst to join a dynamic finance team. The Virtual Financial Analyst will be crucial in helping clients make informed financial decisions through detailed data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This remote position allows you to work from home while collaborating with finance professionals worldwide. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with stakeholders to provide critical insights to drive business growth and financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Perform in-depth financial analysis, generate reports, and provide recommendations to improve economic performance. Utilize tools like Excel, financial software, and data visualization platforms to deliver insights that help shape company strategies.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: I assist in creating annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans. I work alongside department heads to understand the requirements, offer realistic projections, and ensure the alignment of financial goals.
• Data Modeling: Develop complex financial models to analyze financial scenarios, predict future performance, and support strategic decision-making. Ensure models are accurate, comprehensible, and effectively used by decision-makers.
• Performance Monitoring: We track financial metrics, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze variances to help clients evaluate their business's economic health. We also identify trends and recommend solutions to mitigate risks or improve profitability.
• Market Research & Benchmarking: Conduct market research to benchmark financial performance against industry standards. Prepare reports summarizing key findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Work closely with different departments to implement strategies to lower operational costs while maintaining high service and performance standards.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide actionable financial insights. Communicate complex economic concepts in a simple and accessible manner to non-financial stakeholders.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements. Prepare documentation for audits, assist in creating policies, and support initiatives that enhance transparency in financial reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, business modeling, or a similar role. Experience working in a virtual environment is preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand and interpret complex financial data. Exceptional quantitative skills and proficiency in using statistical techniques to forecast economic trends.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros) is essential. Familiarity with other financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze information, and develop solutions. Adept at thinking strategically while having a keen eye for detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of translating financial data into actionable insights and delivering presentations to stakeholders with varying levels of economic knowledge.
• Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting. Willingness to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a positive team culture.
