Position Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Grant Impact Analyst to join our team. This remote role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about data analysis and grant management. The successful candidate will evaluate the impact of various grant-funded programs, ensure effective use of resources, and provide actionable insights to drive program improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Impact Assessment and Reporting:
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of grant-funded projects, analyzing outcomes and measuring impact against predefined goals and objectives.
    • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and methodologies to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of grant programs.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, and recommendations for stakeholders.
    • Use qualitative and quantitative data to assess the performance of grant initiatives and provide actionable insights.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Design and manage data collection processes, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather relevant information on program performance.
    • Analyze complex data sets using statistical software and other analytical tools to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality throughout the evaluation process.
  3. Grant Management Support:
    • Collaborate with grant recipients and internal teams to ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards.
    • Monitor grant implementation and provide technical assistance to grantees to enhance program effectiveness.
    • Review and validate financial reports, performance metrics, and other documentation submitted by grant recipients.
  4. Strategic Planning and Improvement:
    • Support strategic planning efforts by providing insights and recommendations based on impact assessments.
    • Identify best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of grant-funded programs.
    • Assist in developing new grant proposals by providing data-driven insights and impact forecasts.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Facilitate communication between grantees, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment of objectives and expectations.
    • Participate in meetings, webinars, and workshops to present findings and contribute to discussions on program improvements.
    • Address inquiries and guide evaluation processes and impact assessments.
  6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and grant management and evaluation standards.
    • Implement quality assurance procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of impact assessments.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations affecting grant evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management, impact assessment, or a related role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing evaluation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with grant management systems and financial reporting is a plus.
