Position Overview:

We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented Virtual Grant Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while crucially identifying and analyzing grant opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Research:
    • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Utilize various resources, including online databases, government websites, and private grant foundations, to locate and evaluate relevant funding sources.
    • Stay informed about trends and changes in the grant landscape to ensure the organization remains competitive in securing funding.
  2. Analysis and Evaluation:
    • Analyze grant guidelines, eligibility requirements, and application procedures to determine suitability and alignment with organizational priorities.
    • Evaluate grant proposals and applications, providing detailed assessments and recommendations based on criteria such as funding amount, application deadlines, and strategic fit.
    • Prepare summaries and reports on grant opportunities, including key details and strategic implications for the organization.
  3. Proposal Support:
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals.
    • Assist in the development of proposal content by providing research-based insights and recommendations.
    • Ensure all grant-related documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted under funder requirements and deadlines.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain an organized database of grant opportunities, application statuses, and funding outcomes.
    • Track and report on grant application progress, including submission dates, approvals, and rejections.
    • Prepare regular updates and reports on grant research activities for management review.
  5. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand funding needs and priorities.
    • Serve as a point of contact for questions related to grant opportunities and application processes.
    • Foster positive relationships with funders and grant-making organizations, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant research, grant writing, or a related field. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is a plus.
