Job Overview:
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Virtual HR Generalist to join our team remotely. The HR Generalist will manage various human resources activities and projects that align with our organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations & Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, questions, and grievances, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaged work environment by promoting open communication between employees and management.
- Address employee relations issues such as conflicts, performance management concerns, and disciplinary actions fairly, objectively, and professionally.
- Work with managers to ensure employee concerns are handled promptly and by company policy and legal regulations.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the offer process, ensuring a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Oversee the virtual onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed and employees are appropriately integrated into the organization.
- Work closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and ensure that expectations are communicated during the hiring process.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off (PTO), and other benefits offerings.
- Assist employees with benefit inquiries and resolve issues related to their benefits coverage.
- Ensure that all benefit enrollments and changes are processed accurately and promptly.
- Monitor benefits trends and evaluate current offerings to ensure competitiveness within the industry.
- Training & Development:
- Identify organizational training needs and coordinate training programs to support employee development.
- Develop and implement virtual training sessions, workshops, and resources to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Work closely with department leaders to establish employee development plans and career progression opportunities.
- Track training attendance and effectiveness to measure ROI on learning initiatives.
- Performance Management:
- Guide managers and supervisors in executing performance management processes, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback.
- Support employees in creating and achieving their professional development goals.
- Implement systems to track and document employee performance and provide ongoing feedback to managers and employees.
- Assist in identifying and resolving performance-related issues by coaching and supporting employees and management.
- Compliance & Legal:
- Ensure the organizationโs HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and any other applicable regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and advise management on any necessary updates to company policies.
- Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and ensure all HR files and records are appropriately maintained.
- Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct or violations of company policy and ensure that appropriate action is taken based on the findings.
- HR Policy Development:
- Collaborate with the HR team and leadership to develop, update, and implement HR policies that align with the organizationโs values and business objectives.

- HR Data & Reporting:
