Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development:
- Lead the design process from concept through production, creating detailed design solutions that address form and function.
- Develop 3D models, prototypes, and renderings using industry-standard software to visualize and refine design concepts.
- Apply industrial design principles to create products that are not only visually appealing but also ergonomically functional and manufacturable.
- Project Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, marketers, and product managers to align design with project goals and specifications.
- Participate in virtual meetings and design reviews, presenting design concepts and incorporating feedback from team members.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including manufacturers and suppliers, to address design feasibility and production challenges.
- User Experience Focus:

- Ensure that designs meet usability and accessibility standards, providing a seamless experience for end-users.
- Design Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, material requirements, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate design progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Innovation and Trends:
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in industrial design.
- Propose innovative design solutions that push the boundaries of conventional thinking and enhance product differentiation.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve design issues promptly, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and improve product performance.
- Conducted design validation and testing to ensure that designs met quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in industrial design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and outcomes.
- Proficiency in 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
