Virtual Instructor

Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Instructor to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Delivery:
   • Develop and deliver high-quality virtual instruction under the curriculum and educational standards.
   • Create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
   • Utilize various educational technologies and platforms to enhance the learning experience.
   • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
2. Content Development:
   • Design and develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessments.
   • Update and revise course content regularly to ensure relevance and accuracy.
   • Collaborate with other instructors and educational professionals to enhance course offerings and maintain consistency.
3. Student Engagement:
   • Foster a positive, inclusive virtual classroom environment encouraging active participation and engagement.
   • Address student inquiries and concerns promptly, providing clear and supportive responses.
   • Implement strategies to motivate and inspire students, promoting a strong commitment to learning.
4. Administrative Duties:
   • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and participation.
   • Prepare and submit reports as required, including progress reports and performance assessments.
   • You can participate in virtual meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
5. Technology Management:
   • Ensure that all virtual learning platforms and tools are functioning effectively and troubleshoot any technical issues as they arise.
   • Stay informed about emerging technologies and educational tools that could enhance the virtual learning experience.
   • Provide technical support and guidance to students, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, a related field, or equivalent experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in instructional design or online teaching are preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience as a teacher or instructor, with a strong understanding of virtual teaching methodologies and best practices.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational software. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information understandably and engagingly.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Interpersonal Skills: Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and stakeholders, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.

Working Conditions:

• Location: This remote position allows you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
• Hours: Flexibility in scheduling is required. Teaching can occur during evenings and weekends depending on the students' needs.
• Equipment: You must provide your computer, headset, and other necessary equipment for delivering virtual instruction.

Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is $86,129.
