Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Virtual Supply Chain Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Analysis:
   • Conduct comprehensive analyses of supply chain data, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, and supplier performance.
   • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in supply chain processes.
   • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Process Optimization:
   • Assess current supply chain processes and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and best practices.
   • Develop and recommend strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
3. Supplier and Vendor Management:
   • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual and service level agreements (SLAs).
   • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to resolve issues, negotiate terms, and drive continuous improvement.
   • Monitor and manage supplier relationships to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
4. Inventory Management:
   • Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
   • Analyze inventory turnover rates and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce obsolescence.
   • Implement inventory management best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
5. Data Reporting and Documentation:
   • Generate and present detailed reports on supply chain performance, including key metrics and trend analysis.
   • Document supply chain processes, procedures, and changes to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
   • Utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain.
   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address supply chain issues, provide updates, and collaborate on solutions.
   • Facilitate virtual meetings and workshops to discuss supply chain performance, challenges, and opportunities.
7. Risk Management:
   • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
   • Monitor external factors, such as market trends and regulatory changes, that could impact supply chain operations.
   • Implement contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
8. Technology and Tools:
   • Utilize supply chain management software and tools to analyze data, track performance, and manage processes.
   • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance supply chain capabilities and efficiency.
   • Provide recommendations for technology upgrades and system enhancements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations analysis, or a related role.
• Proven experience with supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work setting.
