As a Virtual Talent Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce. You will identify training needs, create customized content, and deliver learning solutions that improve organizational performance. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Human Resources, Leadership, and Employee Engagement teams, to ensure that learning and development initiatives are aligned with the companyโ€™s vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learning and Development Program Design:

  • Develop and design comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of employees at all levels, from entry-level to senior leadership.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and work with department heads to design training solutions that address those gaps.
  • Design engaging and interactive e-learning modules, webinars, and live virtual workshops using modern learning technologies and best practices.
  • Ensure that all learning programs are aligned with business objectives and support long-term talent retention strategies.

2. Training Delivery and Facilitation:

  • Facilitate virtual training sessions, workshops, and meetings to deliver practical learning experiences to employees.
  • To ensure the content is engaging and impactful, use various instructional techniques and formats, such as simulations, role-playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment, encouraging participation and fostering a growth mindset among participants.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as necessary to ensure continuous improvement and relevance.

3. Talent Development and Coaching:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees at all levels, helping them to identify career goals and development areas.
  • Support employees in creating personalized development plans that align with individual career aspirations and organizational needs.
  • Guide high-potential employees through tailored development paths, including leadership development programs and career progression strategies.
  • Offer feedback and development advice to leaders, supporting their ability to effectively lead and manage teams in a remote working environment.

4. Learning Management System (LMS) Management:

  • Manage the organizationโ€™s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring all training materials are up-to-date and accessible to employees.
  • Organize and track employee progress through training programs, generating reports on completion rates, learner engagement, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the IT and HR departments to troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS and other virtual training platforms.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that learning and development strategies are integrated into the business strategy.
  • Work closely with department heads and the HR team to identify emerging talent development needs and align training programs with the companyโ€™s evolving requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for external training vendors and consultants, evaluating third-party learning solutions and ensuring they meet organizational standards.

6. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data on training program effectiveness, including employee feedback, learning outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the impact of talent development initiatives, using data to support recommendations for program adjustments or enhancements.
  • Develop and track key metrics related to employee development, such as improved skills, productivity, retention, and engagement levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Experience and Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. A Masterโ€™s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent development, training, or organizational development, focusing on virtual and remote learning solutions.
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other virtual training platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or WebEx.

2. Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in e-learning design tools such as Articulate, Captivate, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting on training outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with performance management processes and tools.

3. Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage a virtual audience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
