Location: Remote

Salary: $85,000 annually

Position Overview:

As a Virtual Total Rewards Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing the total rewards strategy for our organization. This remote position requires an individual with a deep understanding of compensation, benefits, and employee rewards systems and the ability to analyze and leverage data to drive decisions. You will work closely with various departments to ensure our compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Analysis and Management:
    • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure that our compensation packages are competitive within the industry.
    • Analyze compensation data and trends to make recommendations for salary adjustments, pay structures, and incentive programs.
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions and evaluations to accurately reflect the organization's roles and responsibilities.
    • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and propose improvements as needed.
  2. Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other ancillary benefits.
    • Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality benefits to employees.
    • Analyze benefits utilization data and employee feedback to recommend changes or enhancements to benefits offerings.
    • Manage open enrollment processes and assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize data analytics tools to collect, analyze, and interpret total rewards data, providing insights and recommendations to management.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics, trends, and program effectiveness.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and other reporting tools to track key performance indicators related to total rewards.
  4. Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure that all compensation and benefits practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and industry standards changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Assist with audits and internal reviews related to compensation and benefits programs.
  5. Employee Communication and Support:
    • Serve as a resource for employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
    • Develop and deliver communication materials for total rewards programs to ensure employees are informed and engaged.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on compensation and benefits.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead or participate in special projects related to total rewards, such as implementing new compensation systems or benefits programs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of total rewards initiatives.
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to meet project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis, preferably in a remote or virtual setting.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and total rewards programs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to create and interpret complex reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and compensation management software is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-national organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
