Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Website Content Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of website content, including updating existing pages, creating new content, and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather content and ensure it is presented effectively on the website.
  • Regularly audit website content to ensure it aligns with brand standards, marketing goals, and SEO best practices.
  • Implement content updates using a content management system (CMS), ensuring a consistent look and feel across all pages.

2. Content Creation and Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling content that engages our target audience and supports our marketing campaigns.
  • Write, edit, and proofread web content, including blog posts, product descriptions, landing pages, and other website copy.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines (SEO), including keyword research, meta tags, alt text, and internal linking.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor the performance of web content, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

3. Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate website content projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, IT, and product management, to gather requirements and implement content updates.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely publication of new content and updates.

4. User Experience (UX) and Design Collaboration:

  • Work with the design team to ensure website content is visually appealing and enhances the overall user experience.
  • Provide input on website layout, navigation, and functionality to improve usability and engagement.
  • Conduct regular usability testing to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

5. SEO and Analytics:

  • Perform keyword research and develop SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
  • Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and generate regular reports for management.
  • Identify trends and insights from analytics data to inform content strategy and improve overall website performance.

6. Content Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure all website content adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, including accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Develop and maintain content guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across all web content.

7. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web content management and digital marketing.
  • Recommend and implement new tools, processes, or strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of content management and website performance.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in website content management, digital marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and tools, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and analytics.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS and basic web design principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
