Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Virtual Workforce Planning Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Workforce Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive workforce planning strategies tailored to the unique needs of a remote work environment.
    • Analyze current workforce trends and make recommendations for improvements in workforce allocation, productivity, and operational efficiency.
    • Forecast future workforce needs based on business growth projections, market trends, and changing organizational goals.
  2. Resource Allocation and Management:
    • Oversee the allocation of human resources across various projects and teams to ensure optimal utilization and balance of workload.
    • Monitor workforce performance and productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Collaborate with department heads and team leaders to understand resource requirements and provide recommendations for staffing adjustments.
  3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize data-driven insights to inform workforce planning decisions and strategies.
    • Create and maintain detailed reports on workforce performance, capacity, and productivity.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
  4. Process Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance workforce planning and management processes.
    • Develop and maintain effective tools and systems for workforce planning, including forecasting models, scheduling systems, and resource-tracking mechanisms.
  5. Remote Workforce Management:
    • Develop and enforce guidelines and best practices for managing a remote workforce, including communication protocols, performance evaluation methods, and team collaboration strategies.
    • Provide support and guidance to remote team members to ensure alignment with organizational goals and performance standards.
    • Address and resolve any issues related to remote work arrangements, including technology challenges, team dynamics, and productivity concerns.
  6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with HR, operations, and other relevant departments to align workforce planning efforts with overall business objectives.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on workforce-related initiatives.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to contribute to broader organizational goals and strategies.
  7. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure that all workforce planning activities adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify potential risks related to workforce planning and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in workforce management practices to ensure compliance and relevance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, or a related role, with a proven track record in a remote or virtual work environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
