Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workforce Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing workforce data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that support workforce planning and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, a keen understanding of workforce metrics, and exceptional analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Management:
    • Collect and aggregate workforce-related data from various sources including HR systems, employee surveys, and operational reports.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data validation and cleansing.
  2. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    • Utilize statistical methods and data analysis tools to interpret complex data sets.
    • Conduct trend analysis, workforce forecasting, and predictive modeling to identify patterns and anomalies.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key workforce metrics such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and productivity.
  3. Reporting and Presentation:
    • Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and other key decision-makers.
  4. Workforce Planning and Strategy:
    • Collaborate with HR and operational teams to understand workforce needs and support strategic planning initiatives.
    • Analyze current workforce trends to forecast future staffing requirements and recommend staffing strategies.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven solutions to enhance workforce management and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and implement best practices for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  6. Compliance and Data Security:
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies regarding data privacy and security.
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive workforce data and handle data with integrity and discretion.
  7. Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support workforce-related projects and initiatives.
    • Provide analytical support and insights for various HR programs, including talent acquisition, employee retention, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data analysis or HR analytics are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably with a focus on workforce or HR data. Experience with workforce management systems and HR metrics is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar platforms. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling is advantageous.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
