Key Responsibilities:
- Instructional Design:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and determine instructional goals.
- Design and develop e-learning courses, modules, and interactive content that align with instructional objectives and learner needs.
- Apply instructional design theories, models, and principles to create engaging and compelling learning experiences.
- Content Development:
- Create high-quality e-learning content using various authoring tools and multimedia elements, including graphics, audio, video, and animations.
- Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with learning objectives and industry standards.
- Develop and implement assessments and quizzes to evaluate learner progress and knowledge retention.
- Technology Integration:
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deploy and manage e-learning courses and track learner progress.
- Stay current with emerging e-learning technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to e-learning platforms and support learners as needed.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough reviews and testing of e-learning modules to ensure functionality, usability, and accessibility.
- Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine e-learning content and delivery methods.
- Adhere to best practices and standards for e-learning development, including accessibility guidelines and data privacy regulations.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple e-learning development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and SMEs to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including design plans, development schedules, and progress reports.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to instructors and facilitators on using e-learning tools and technologies.
- Create user guides, tutorials, and documentation to assist learners and educators in navigating e-learning platforms.
- Assist in developing best practices and guidelines for e-learning implementation and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) are a plus.
- Proven experience in e-learning development, including expertise in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, learning theories, and best practices for online education.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience in developing content that is inclusive and accessible to all learners.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing e-learning content.
- Experience in developing mobile-friendly and responsive e-learning modules.
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting to assess the effectiveness of e-learning programs.
