Position Overview:

We seek a highly organized and proactive Marketplace Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our operations, you will manage the day-to-day activities of our online marketplace to ensure efficient and effective performance. This role involves overseeing vendor relationships, optimizing product listings, and ensuring the seamless execution of operational processes. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketplace Management:
    • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our online marketplace.
    • Monitor marketplace performance metrics, including sales, traffic, and conversion rates.
    • Analyze data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  2. Vendor Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketplace vendors and partners.
    • Facilitate communication between vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and address concerns.
    • Coordinate product onboarding and ensure accurate and timely listing of new products.
  3. Product Listing Optimization:
    • Manage and optimize product listings to enhance visibility and drive sales.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies.
    • Ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and up-to-date.
  4. Order Fulfillment and Customer Service:
    • Oversee order processing and ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
    • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and returns promptly and professionally.
    • Work with the customer service team to resolve product quality or delivery issues.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketplace operations.
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize workflows to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with the IT department to address technical issues and implement system updates.
    • Provide input and feedback on marketplace strategies and initiatives.
  7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure adherence to marketplace policies and guidelines.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure product quality and adherence to marketplace standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and marketplace management tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with online marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Shopify) and e-commerce best practices.
    • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
    • Experience with order management systems and CRM tools is a plus.
